God is my Shield

Below is the GodWhispers I read from my inbox today. It tells exactly what's in my mind about what  happened on this morning. I'm just obeying the employee rules and regulations imposed by the company.

There was an incident happened between me and a co-worker earlier this morning. She uttered bitter and harsh words against me and without a word I cried because I couldn't take it anymore. I hold on to being a professional, not making any further argument with her. Another worst thing she did was gossiping to different department what was happened between us. For short, she bad-mouthed me here in the workplace. It hurts but I stand to what is proper and just. I don't want any trouble that's why I decided to keep my silence and let her not destroy my patience and professionalism. I'm still glad that the people whom she told about it sympathize with me. They believed that I'm on the right track. They said that this person has an attitude problem. That she had also conflicts with others on the past. What I did was I informed my immediate boss for what had happened and he advised me on what's best thing to do on such situation and how to handle it with dignity and pride of a professional woman like me.

I will just pray and let God heal me on the hurt she caused me. And as what Sir Francis Kong says, "Pay no attention to the jerks and losers in the workplace." 

4 Years of Service

Today, July 05, 2010 marks the 4 years of service I've been working here in my present job. I could still remember my first day of entering the company premises and preparing for my new life's journey being in the health care industry. I was a bit shy but excited and responsible enough to start the day and face the challenges in my new work environment.

It has been a privilege working for such a good company with no other aim but to strive for excellence and I am very proud to be part of this team. I would like to thank the organization for accepting me as part of the family, teaching and molding me not just to be a good employee, but a well-rounded person as well.

I will be forever grateful and always cherish all the memories I have on this journey. Wherever my journey and opportunity would lead me, I shall face a new venture filled with head's up confidence and spirit, which I got from being part of the organization.

Office Blessing

Office Blessing is performed to bring the presence of God's blessing and protection into a space. It is usually done to keep away from evils and avoid bad lucks.

Today, Monday, 29th of March 2010; we, at Human Resource Department,  had our office blessing at our new office. During lunch time, we had a great tasting viand like chicken chopsuey, pork barbeque, grilled milkfish (bangus) and eggplant salad (ensaladang talong). We savored pancit palabok, pichi-pichi and cake at merienda time.

The Office Blessing Ceremony

Fr. Vicente Amparo led the office blessing ceremony and recited a special prayers and sprinkled holy water to every side of the room. The invited guests participated in the grabbing of blessed coins that have been thrown out by our boss. After the ceremony, the small party food begun.
