Two Little Angels

A mother's joy begins when new life is stirring inside... when a tiny heartbeat is heard for the very first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone”               By Author Unknown

My two good friends, Jasmin and Roni are now pregnant. They are now in their first journey to motherhood. They embrace it with an open arms for it gives priceless joy, fun and precious moments to the whole family, circle of friends and relatives.

Jasmin is currently 8th months pregnant. January 09, 2011 is her due date to give birth. We're all excited to see the coming of the precious baby. They are now preparing all the things needed for that day. Ultrasound result says it's a baby girl. How wonderful!

A great joy and happiness enveloped the whole being of the couple when the result of pregnancy test was positive. God bestowed them a priceless gift  and it's really an answered prayer. At first they can't believe it for they're waited it for a year or two. She even bought another pregnancy test to be sure of the outcome. And still it's positive. She's 6 weeks pregnant. Her due date to give birth is on July 25, 2011. How lovely!

Congratulations to both of you, Jasmin & Roni Rose!!!

A Bundle of Joy si Coming!

I was overwhelmed with great joy when my sister Arlene who got married last September 18, 2010 informed me yesterday that she had an appointment with obstetrician/gynecologist and was informed that she's now two months pregnant. I'm sure our parents will be exultantly happy and excited for their first grandchild.

It was a great blessing that a bundle of joy is coming. It would be the first baby in the family. Indeed, we rejoiced for such good news. My father who is really longing for a granchild would be more keen in the coming of the baby. I'm certain on it.

My pregnant friend Yhaz has given me her excess folic acid tablets that she bought. My sister needs it. Getting enough folic acid every day especially before conception and during early pregnancy is one of the most important things to do that can help prevent serious birth defects in the baby. I thanked my friend for being generous and kind for giving me some to be given to my pregnant sister.

A Downhearted Friend

It feels like a knife stabbed my heart while reading Roni's post about her most ardent wish of having a bundle of joy to complete her family. I can feel her aching heart, a lost soul trying to find a flicker of hope, solace and comfort just to bear the pain in her pcos journey. Perhaps I couldn't figure out enough to fathom what she feels but I can perceive that there is a melancholy and gloominess in her eyes whenever she sees a pregnant women passing by or a proud mother cuddling her precious child. If only there is something I could do to make her wish comes true I would gladly do it. Despite of my incapability of doing so, I would be very affectionate to offer her a words of encouragement, a tender and loving arms to comfort her, a shoulder to cry on and ear to listen so that in my own little way I could lift up her spirit from the downward spiral of frustration and envy.

Finding hope in the God's protection will be the only certain thing we could do. One way of doing this is by praying and sharing our pain with Jesus. As Jesus says:

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
