Happy Birthday Sir & Joi

Happy Birthday Pictures, Images and Photos
Today is the birthday of my immediate boss and co-officemate here in our department. Certainly, it would be a busy day for us here. Our boss will be having a birthday celebration this lunchtime at the conference room. Our boss ordered many foods to be served for employees who will attend the celebration. We will be preparing all the things needed for the birthday celebration.

To my boss: A very Happy Birthday to a great mentor and a wonderful person. Wishing you success and happiness always!

To Joi: Sending birthday blessings, filled with love and peace and joy. Wishing sweetest things happen, right before your eyes today that is your birthday! Happy Birthday!!!

God is my Shield

Below is the GodWhispers I read from my inbox today. It tells exactly what's in my mind about what  happened on this morning. I'm just obeying the employee rules and regulations imposed by the company.
There was an incident happened between me and a co-worker earlier this morning. She uttered bitter and harsh words against me and without a word I cried because I couldn't take it anymore. I hold on to being a professional, not making any further argument with her. Another worst thing she did was gossiping to different department what was happened between us. For short, she bad-mouthed me here in the workplace. It hurts but I stand to what is proper and just. I don't want any trouble that's why I decided to keep my silence and let her not destroy my patience and professionalism. I'm still glad that the people whom she told about it sympathize with me. They believed that I'm on the right track. They said that this person has an attitude problem. That she had also conflicts with others on the past. What I did was I informed my immediate boss for what had happened and he advised me on what's best thing to do on such situation and how to handle it with dignity and pride of a professional woman like me.

I will just pray and let God heal me on the hurt she caused me. And as what Sir Francis Kong says, "Pay no attention to the jerks and losers in the workplace."

Unfavorable Days is Coming

Earlier this morning, when I heard from a personnel of Comptroller's Office that the processing of payroll for all employees will be implemented based on HRIS (Human Resources Information System) by the end of this December, the first thing that came into my mind was the toxic job coming soon.
Why I call it toxic job? It is because the said program has no perfect end result up to this time despite of several years spent on solving the problem. The programmer has really a hard time in making the HRIS perfectly organized or with less error. As a result, we at HRD suffer on the imperfection of the system. For sure, many workload will be added to us and we have to work double time especially starting today that one of our office colleagues is on maternity leave and has no reliever yet. Being one of the responsible and trusted office staffs here in the department, I'm handling now the usual workload left by our on-leave office colleague. So I have to work very hard  and do multitasking to get more work done and meet deadlines.

It's really a big challenge for me that I have to accept and give my very best to do the job. I already put my trust in God that He will give me physical strength, knowledge and wisdom to fulfill the tasks and responsibilities expected of me. "So help me God."

Ponciana's Kitchen

Before entering this place, a talking bird would greet you with meow or a sexy whistle. It has a refreshing and feel at home ambiance as you eyed the display of home cooked dishes at their food counter.

This restaurant offered affordable yummy and enticing dishes like baked and grilled milkfish, fish steak, fried liempo with eggplant and many more. And of course, the crispy spinach served with mayonnaise-catsup dip which is my most favorite and one of their best sellers. They have a wide array of non-alcoholic beverages like shakes, juices and softdrinks, etc. For desserts, they have fruits, buko pandan, crema de mango, halo-halo and many more.

with my HR family

I could say that Ponciana's Kitchen experience can be summed up in one word - SATISFACTION!!!!
