My 1st Ever Fun Run - Yakult 10-Miler Race 2011

I woke up at exactly three o'clock in the morning last March 27, 2011. I took a bath and went straight to the office where our meeting place is. We left the place at 4:00 a.m. and we're super excited to go to CCP Manila to attend the Yakult 10-Miler Race 2011.
Our day will not be complete without pictorials. The camera captured the once-in-a-lifetime first ever bonding moment fun run we ever had. We had a lot of snapshots before and after the event.
We seized the moment with our first fun run.  Though I only finished the 5k race within 54:44 minutes I'm still proud of my accomplishment. It's my first time in joining such event and have made it possible even without practice. It's actually a wonderful thing. I achieve something good. And I feel better.

After the event, we have decided to look for some food place where we could eat breakfast. We all agreed to dine at Aristocrat Restaurant in Malate, Manila.

I ordered Filipino Breakfast Set (Longganisa & Chicken Adobo w/ hot tea) with a price of  Php 239.00 to satisfy my hungry tummy.

Overall, the breakfast was a wonderful way to cap the end of our first ever Fun Run. See you on our next race. It's so addictive!

Ponciana's Kitchen

Before entering this place, a talking bird would greet you with meow or a sexy whistle. It has a refreshing and feel at home ambiance as you eyed the display of home cooked dishes at their food counter.

This restaurant offered affordable yummy and enticing dishes like baked and grilled milkfish, fish steak, fried liempo with eggplant and many more. And of course, the crispy spinach served with mayonnaise-catsup dip which is my most favorite and one of their best sellers. They have a wide array of non-alcoholic beverages like shakes, juices and softdrinks, etc. For desserts, they have fruits, buko pandan, crema de mango, halo-halo and many more.

I could say that Ponciana's Kitchen experience can be summed up in one word - SATISFACTION!!!!

Eclipse Movie & Blackbeard's Seafood Island

pose at Eclipse

I'm having a nap when I received a text message from a friend inviting me to watch the Twilight Saga: Eclipse last July 01, 2010. Of course, I said yes. Since new year came, I'm looking forward to watch this movie. We stepped out of the office at exactly 4 o'clock in the afternoon and headed to Trinoma Mall to meet the couple who went there earlier than us to buy movie tickets. We brought some snacks and drink into the cinema theater to enjoy it while watching the movie. We had fun and laughter inside the movie theater.

After we stepped out of the movie house, we've decided to look for a fine dining restaurant. We chose the Blackbeard's Seafood Island. They had a live band music in the background. We ordered Boodle Feast Dapitan's Pride, a combination of crispy coco gin shrimps, San Mig clams (cooked in San Mig Lite), grilled tilapia, grilled squid, laing, steamed crabs, grilled liempo and kalkag rice (hibi-flavored rice). We ordered iced tea and dalandan juice for our drinks.

covered with banana leaves meant for sharing.

picture taking comes first before eating

I really enjoyed the feast flatter because it satisfied my cravings for seafood. It's one of the favorite food and I want it more and more, maybe in some other time again. Overall, we had oodles of fun going out once again.

Lamesa Grill

It was a bright sunny day when Charisse and Jasmin asked me to be with them in SM North Edsa to look for a swimwear to be used this hot summer escapade. At first, I was a bit irresolute of going out thinking no one will be staying late at the office. But knowing Riza will stay, we finally headed to SM North Edsa. It was a blissful day for us because we had an unplanned chillax. We managed to have a get-together once again after such time we're still in not-so-much available mood.

We strolled around and looked for something we need. After a while, we headed to Trinoma Mall to look for a better and more affordable swimwear. We saw the couple falling in line at nearby fastfood chain. Roni told us they were hungry then we decided to look for a dining place. It was in Lamesa Grill where we dined in and savored the delectable food. After a full plate, we browsed some cocktail drinks available on their menu. Blue Margarita was then our choice. We filled up our glasses and emptied it while chitchatting.

I really enjoyed the day out once again and felt relaxed.

Baby Haniel Rezon's Christening

I was a bit surprised when JR Dimaunahan handed me a printed baptismal invitation a week ago. He gladly told me that I'm one of the godparents of his firstborn baby boy.

So yesterday, I woke up at 7:42 in the morning and attended Baby Haniel Rezon's Christening held at St. Peter's Parish along Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. I arrived just on time before  the baptismal ceremony had started.  It was my first time seeing a quite different kind of baptismal room and I was really astounded for its peaceful ambiance and facilities. It is a air-conditioned room and has a fountain used in sprinkling water on baby's head.

When the baptismal was over and a bit early to go to reception, I lit a candles and offered prayers and thanksgiving. Afterward, we were on our way to Tramway Buffet Garden located at Timog Avenue, Quezon City.  It was my first time to dine here and really satisfied with their eat-all-you-can buffet. The foods taste good and yummy. I would definitely recommend Tramway Garden Buffet to my relatives and friends.

Lastly, Pareng JR handed us a piece of baptism giveaways before we go home.

Starbucks Green Tea Frappuccino

I was thinking to reward myself to a Starbucks Frappuccino after receiving our easter bonus this day. Roni Rose, Jasmin and I went to Starbucks located at the hospital's commercial arcade and looked for what we want to sip and enjoy. Because Jasmin and I had took our dinner an hour ago we decided to just order a tall cup size.  I browsed the Starbucks menu and I was really curious of the Green Tea Frappucino.  My curiosity urged me to try it out, and so I did. It's so creamy and rich and I loved it. The store cashier told me that this is one of Starbucks best sellers.

Green tea benefits both the weight-conscious and the stressed and lethargic. Needless to say, green tea is healthy, doubled with whipped cream is a perfect combination to enjoy.  The taste is very addictive and I guess I would always want to have it every time I visit Starbucks.
